Our Story and Craft

Matt Miller spent eighteen years building custom homes before he decided it was time to do things his own way. In 2021, he started Sawmill Lane Construction out of Middlefield, Ohio and he brought the people he trusted most along with him.

Today, the crew is made up of Matt's two sons and a craftsman with over thirty years of hands-on experience in framing and trim work, specializing in windows and doors. It's a small team by design. Every project stays personal, every job gets their full attention, and nothing goes out the door that the Miller family wouldn't be proud to put their name on. Four years in, the business still runs the way it started on reputation, on referrals, and on the belief that the job in front of you is the only one that matters right now.
